The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its councils of Finance and Employment, has made delivery of financial aid collected in the Plan for Business Development and Employment.

Through the last call of this plan, grants have been granted, for a total amount of 9,500 euros, to six entrepreneurs for the establishment of new businesses in the municipality, plus four grants to employers for hiring workers.

The Councilor for Finance and Employment, Julia Giménez, has advanced that throughout the month of March will publish the regulatory bases and call to apply for aid from the Business Development and Employment Plan for the year 2018, "with which we want to continue fostering the entrepreneurial dynamism as an essential factor to boost economic growth, through the generation of new employment and wealth opportunities ".

The subsidies are aimed at people who start a business project in Caravaca de la Cruz and companies, new or incorporated, that hire at least one worker indefinitely.

For each full-time contract, a subsidy of up to 1,000 euros is granted, with a limit of five workers.

The aid for the establishment of a new company is 1,000 euros (general unemployed) and 1,300 euros (unemployed under 30, over 45, disabled or victims of gender violence).

The beneficiaries of the grants for entrepreneurs granted within the 2017 call have been Laura Domingo Romero (D'Touring Travel Agency), Pedro Sánchez García (car wash, polishing and repair of seats), Alfonso Muñoz Sánchez (electrical installations , plumbing and air conditioning), Raúl Godínez Sánchez-Guerrero (gardening company), Laura Galera Millán (tattoo and piercing company) and Leticia Sosa Betancourt (Bar la Tapería).

Each one has received the amount of one thousand euros for starting a new business activity.

Aid for hiring, of one thousand euros for each worker, has been granted to Juan Francisco Lloret Picazo (shoe repair) and two to Pedro Jesús López Cantero (Cold Reverte, road transport company).
