The City of Caravaca de la Cruz commemorates tomorrow, March 8, the 'International Women's Day', with the third edition of the march 'Súmate', which will culminate at 11.30 am with the reading of the institutional manifesto in the Salón de Plenary sessions of the Caravaca de la Cruz Town Hall.
The Councilor for Women and Social Services, María José Soria, said that the commitment to equality must be present every day, but "tomorrow is a special day of vindication and fight against inequality between men and women."
In the march, promoted by the councils of Women, Social Services and Sports, more than 250 people, belonging to the women's associations of the municipality and the municipal program of sports for adults, as well as users of the Training and Employment Center and public will participate. in general.
Departure at 10.00 hours from the Juan Antonio Corbalán pavilion, to make a tour of Red Roads, Andenes-Gregorio Sanchez Romero Avenue, Corredera, Rafael Tejeo, Calle Mayor to Plaza del Arco.
Later, as a complementary activity, there will be a guided tour to the Archaeological Museum of 'La Soledad', to culminate with a meal and a coffee gathering.
But the activities scheduled to mark the 'International Women's Day' began on 19 and 20 February with the program 'Women's Tour', aimed at businesswomen and unemployed and will continue with a gala, to be held on March 18 , at 8:00 pm, at the Thuillier Theater, with the tribute to the Women Entrepreneur and Professional Woman of 2018. This act will be enlivened by the show 'Grito de Mujer-Faros de Esperanza', with theatrical performances, music and poetry.
On March 14 and 21, at 6.30 pm there will be a cheese tasting with designation of origin at the Training and Employment Center and the Social Center of the hamlet of Navares, respectively.
Finally, to close the commemorative events of the 'International Women's Day', on March 20 and 27 will take place the "Meetings of entrepreneurship and business management, development of relationships and business collaboration", organized by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia (OMEP).
This meeting includes the workshops' Make myself visible in social networks, in meetings and in my business environment 'and' Business communication.
