All of us dream of a world without inequality and this has been the aspiration of many women throughout the last centuries and that make the world celebration of March 8 possible today.

They represent the effort that millions of women, and more and more men, make every day to build a more equal world.

Because equality is not a concept.

It's not something we should be fighting for.

It is a necessity.

We need men and women to stand out in this world.

We have to banish the misogyny that is found in all cultures because it really is not a true part of them and of the human condition.

There may come a day when the world does not have to celebrate that it is March 8 and all of us forget that there was a time when International Women's Day took place on that day.

But that moment has not yet come and we still have to denounce inequality, the gender gap and the lack of opportunities.

What kind of world is this that condemns half of its population to a second class citizenship?

If the women of the world displayed their full potential how much would be earned!

When women have power, they improve the lives of everyone and everyone around them;

their families, their communities and their countries are favored and favored.

This is not only women's business: we men have to be aware and recognize the role we play.

True men treat women with dignity and give them the respect they deserve.

The objective of this year's mobilization for International Women's Day is to show the importance of the central role that women play for society, for homes, for the functioning of cities.

That is why a feminist strike has been called that claims economic and labor aspects, but that is above all social, because the reasons for which it is convoked have a lot to do with how this society treats you unequally.

FOR ALL THIS, BECAUSE I SUPPORT YOU AND I LOVE YOU, I AM YOUR ALLY: I AM FEMINIST.
