The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has opened the contracting process for the management of public service through the concession of the Municipal Hostel of La Almudema and restaurant annex.
The announcement of the tender has been published in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM) and the deadline for submission of proposals ends on March 22.
The management should cover the catering services and other benefits included in the list of administrative clauses.
The needs to be met through the contract consist of offering quality services to the hostel's users during their stay in the hostel, fostering contact with nature and enabling the proper use of leisure and free time, as well as social coexistence and exchange. cultural.
The hostel is located in the hamlet of La Almudema, finished construction in June 2010, with a useful area of ​​382.56m2.
It has the following capacity: eight rooms with two bunk beds with capacity for four people with individual bathroom;
two rooms with four bunk beds with capacity for eight people, with individual bathroom;
a room with eight bunk beds with capacity for sixteen people with different common bathrooms (male and female);
dining room-bar with capacity for 36 people.
For the start-up of the hostel, the City Council will provide it with furniture and materials that are listed in the hostel inventory.
The contract stipulates an annual fee in favor of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz of 4,000 euros, which may be improved upwards in the economic offer.
Taking into account this exploitation fee, the base bidding budget for the contract amounts to 16,000 euros, corresponding to the annual fee for four years, with an estimated contract value of 32,000 euros, taking into account the possible extensions.
The form of public service adjudication of the Albergue La Almudema will be an open procedure, with the parties being subject to what is expressly stated in the conditions specifications, as well as to compliance with the Municipal Shelter Regulations.
The contract will be governed by the Public Sector Contracts Law.
