Within the National System of Youth Guarantee, the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Youth Council, teaches training courses for employment 'Promotion and socio-educational intervention with people with disabilities' and 'English B1', directed 24 young people
The course 'Promotion and socio-educational intervention with people with disabilities' provides knowledge and tools to work in educational, social and cultural areas of care for people with disabilities.
The students will obtain a certificate of professionalism Level III, after completing a total of 460 hours of training, including 80 hours of professional practices.
For its development, the Youth Council has a grant of 22,940 euros, the National Youth Guarantee System, through the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and the European Social Fund (ESF).
The non-work professional practices will allow to apply the knowledge and theoretical contents that they are acquiring in the different modules and to know firsthand a real work environment with these social groups of people with disabilities.
On the other hand, in the Youth Center of Caravaca is also teaching the course 'English B1', in which 12 other young people, who are acquiring a prior preparation to get this official certification.
This course also has a financing of 19,200 euros from the SEF and ESF.
The students, after completing the 240 hours of intensive training, will have the opportunity to take the exam, counting the financial support of funding of 80% of the enrollment of the test.
