The weekly 'El Noroeste' continues with activities to commemorate its twentieth anniversary.
After the talk of Dr. Marta Garaulet last March 21 on nutrition and healthy habits, for Saturday April 7 this publication has prepared the opening concert by the Northwest Chamber Orchestra.
The formation is composed of thirteen stringed players, who are linked by the Professional Conservatory of Music 'Leandro Martínez Romero' of Caravaca de la Cruz, since most of its members form or have been part of it, as well as students, teachers or both.
The concert, centered on twentieth-century American composers (A. Piazzola, N. Rosauro, G. Gershwin, etc.) will take place at 8:00 pm at the Thuillier theater in Caravaca.
As with chamber music, the complement of "camera" refers to the room in which they developed (originally the music rooms of the palaces and large residences of the seventeenth century).
Since then it means "reduced orchestra that fits in a room".
Thanks to its versatility, the repertoire of this training can include works that go from the baroque period, to arrangements of a lot of popular music, going through the classic, romantic or modern periods.
"Celebrating this birthday is the right thing to do at this moment, celebrate it to thank the trust of those who have accompanied us: readers, collaborators, advertisers and newspaper workers." Special mention should be made here of the collaboration with APCOM and more recently with INTEDIS , the two associations that work in our regions for people with intellectual disabilities and who work to achieve Full Inclusion, their enthusiasm and good work are an example of how we are on the right track, "said Francisco Marín, editor of the weekly El Northwest.
