The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has provided sports pavement Archivel pavilion, with an investment of 53,000 euros, undertaken with the municipal budget.
With this action, the municipal facility already meets the necessary conditions for the practice of various sports such as Futsal, Handball, Basketball or Minibasket, complying with the regulations and conditions required by the different federations.
The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, accompanied by the councilors of the areas of Sports and Pedanías, María José Soria and Enrique Fuentes, respectively, visited the pavilion, after the works of laying the new floor, along with the mayoress pedánea , María del Mar Sánchez.
They explained that the City of Caravaca has thus met a demand that the residents of Archivel came claiming since the pavilion was built in 2011, as had been shown later in the neighborhood board and in meetings held with associations of the district.
"We are sure that the installation of this homologated floor will serve to encourage the practice of sport, making responsible and appropriate use that allows us to enjoy this space in ideal conditions for a long time."
The project, awarded in tender for the company Equidesa Group, has consisted in the placement of a flexible vinyl flooring, on an area of ​​1,400 square meters, as well as in the signage of the different sports fields provided in this municipal facility.
