Explain the details and how to implement the Law of Gratuity of Textbooks to the educational community is the goal of the act that the Caravaca PP has organized to celebrate tomorrow, Wednesday, April 18.
In the act, which will take place in The Lounge Club Company at 20:00 hours, will participate the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, María Robles;
the general director of Vocational Training, Sergio López, and the PP deputy in the Regional Assembly, Víctor Martínez-Carrasco, accompanied by councilors José Francisco García and Mónica Sánchez, among others.
The Regional Assembly unanimously approved last March the Free Textbook Law proposal that will start working from next year.
The regulations will be implemented progressively during the next four years.
As established in the law, the student beneficiaries of the measure will have access to the textbooks chosen by the center for the compulsory education they are studying.
Once the school year is over, the students must return the textbooks to their center so that other students can use them later.
It also establishes that the regional government finances the acquisition of the textbooks necessary for the loan system to function, as well as the replacement needs.
The law is expected to benefit some 220,000 students in the Region.
At the event are invited both teachers and management teams of schools and AMPAS and in general all people interested in knowing the details of this law.
