On the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the patron saint festivities in honor of the Most Holy and Vera Cruz, the City Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz has issued a statement in which it is mandatory to comply with the regulations on safety, emergency and hygiene in premises and facilities.
"For the proper development of festive events and taking into account that each year there is a greater influx of public, it is desirable that all residents and visitors comply with basic rules of coexistence aimed at making the use of the rights and freedoms of people compatible with your security ", according to this side, which cites measures collected both in Law 7/185 Regulating the Bases of Local Regime and municipal ordinances.
Among the provisions that are listed in the text highlights the obligation of the owners, owners or tenants, as well as the organizers of activities, to respect the maximum permitted capacity in premises and facilities, as well as the prohibition to sell or dispense alcoholic beverages to under 18 years old.
Also, the side refers to the regulations on noise emission and the prohibition to use, without the appropriate authorization, elements that may cause fires such as fireworks, flares, firecrackers or gunpowder luminaires, and in no case, the use of braziers. or stoves inside the premises.
People who produce or sell food products to the public must meet the requirements established by current sanitary regulations, with the appropriate authorization, also in the case of demountable establishments or caravans.
According to article 15.3 of the Municipal Ordinance of Public Safety that regulates street parties: "In order to promote the protection of health, respect for the environment, protection of minors, the right to rest and tranquility of the neighbors, the right to enjoy a non-degraded public space, order the use of public roads, ensure public safety and consumer rights and avoid unfair competition to the hospitality industry, except parties or authorized places , the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the street is prohibited ".
The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, expresses on this side his confidence in the good disposition of all citizens and requests the maximum collaboration for the fulfillment of the different measures that appear on the side and that aim to combine fun with security and respect for others.
