More than 300 Secondary students from schools in the municipality have participated in educational workshops on safe internet use, and particularly in social networks, organized by the Youth Department of the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council.
During the sessions -parted by professionals from the local companies Tenredo Socialmedia and Centro Imaginia-, the main risks and potential dangers that exist in the network have been reported, focusing on key aspects such as the configuration of online privacy and tools that facilitate a safe and useful navigation for personal and academic development.
The centers that have participated in this initiative are the institutes 'Ginés Pérez Chirinos' and 'San Juan de la Cruz', and the school 'Nuestra Señora de la Consolación'.
The Department of Youth has extended these workshops to users of the Association of Families of People with Intellectual Disability of the Northwest (APCOM), who have attended various talks at the facilities of the Youth Center.
