Visitor services are reinforced during the festivities with the opening every day of the Municipal Tourist Office and the Tourist Information Point
The users of the free mobile APP 'Caravaca en Fiestas' will receive notifications in real time before each act and with the results of the competitions of the Caballos del Vino
The Council of Celebrations of the City council of Caravaca de la Cruz has installed, through the company 'Elecfes', the ornamental lighting in the main streets and urban scenes of the patronal celebrations.
The ignition will take place this Sunday, April 29, starting at 9:00 p.m., once the proclamation is over, which will be delivered by Juan Manuel Laborda Oñate from the esplanade of the Castle.
This year all the designs are kept in low consumption lighting, with LED technology, which reduces the electricity consumption, with the consequent economic savings and emissions of Co2.
Following the line of design premiered last holidays, in the Gran Vía has installed a new special assembly with allegorical elements to the Moors, Christians and Horses of Wine with pieces of methacrylate, backlit.
The festive lighting extends to the streets Maruja Garrido, Mayrena, Gregorio Javier, Alfonso Zamora, Ciruelos, Mayor, Rafael Tejeo, Cuesta de la Plaza and Puentecilla, as well as the fairground, which is located next to the sports complex 'Francisco Fernández Torralba '
According to the data provided by 'Elecfes', electricity consumption has been reduced by around 20% compared to 2017, with a total power of 134 Kw.

On May 1 and 2, it will be located at Plaza del Arco and on the 3rd at Plaza del Templete.
Mobile app
As every year, the mobile app of 'Caravaca en Fiestas' is available for Android and iOS systems.
The users of this application will be able to know the program of parties, the routes or places of interest of the different acts and receive notifications in real time when an act is going to begin.
In addition, the application itself has a GPS access to guide the visitor to the place where the event takes place.
The application also has a series of photo galleries and sections that explain in detail all the events and even a section of advice and security for those who do not know the party.
It is also linked to the news of the web caravacaenfiestas.com, where you will be informed of all the festera actualities, winners of the horse racing competitions, etcetera.
The application, which is online since 2014, accumulates around 5000 downloads and more than 500 notifications sent informing about the different events of the party.
It is free and available in Spanish and English for both Android and iOS.
Reinforcement of visitor services
From 1 to 5 May, the Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz will strengthen visitor services with the opening of the Municipal Office of Tourism, the street of Las Monjas, and the Tourist Information Point, the Plaza del Arco
These services will remain open to the public during the morning and afternoon of May 1 and during the morning of May 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Tourism has made 6,000 information plans, which reflect the situation of health care services, parking areas, location of public urinals and telephones of interest, among other aspects.

Promotion of the holidays
