"My love for Caravaca de la Cruz and the celebration of the Caballos del Vino has been increasing since my visit in May of last year," says the president of Cs
Citizens will take their proposal to the Cultural Commission of the Congress so that the celebration of the Caravaca de la Cruz's Horses of Wine will be declared a World Heritage Site.
As confirmed by the deputy José Luis Martínez, "the intention is that in May the proposal that Ciudadanos already presented in May of last year can be debated, with the aim that the celebrations can achieve the declaration in 2020, when the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguard of the World Heritage of UNESCO accepts the new candidacies ".
Citizens reactivated through an NLP Caravaqueña candidacy through a proposal not law that will shortly come to the Culture Commission.
At the same time, the magazine 'El Caballista' has dedicated a photographic report to the visit that the president of the formation, Albert Rivera, made to the town in May of last year.
Rivera himself has sent a text for inclusion in the publication, which has a circulation of about 5,000 copies and is distributed - in addition to Caravaca de la Cruz and the Region - in the different Houses of Murcia spread throughout Spain and abroad .
Murcia deputies José Luis Martínez and Miguel Garaulet have delivered a copy to Rivera of the magazine, in which the head of Cs ensures that "since my visit last May during the Jubilee Year to Caravaca de la Cruz, my love towards that land and the celebration has been increasing.
There I could see first-hand the laborious work of the clothes of the horses and know in situ the characteristics of the celebration, to which I publicly expressed my total support and that of my training ".
Rivera has already confirmed his support for the candidature of the Caballos del Vino as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity "because we must try to let the whole world know that Spain is one of the countries with the richest cultural world and that there are manifestations that should be supported as they were Las Fallas and how they have to be the Sant Jordi in Catalonia and the Horses of Wine in Caravaca de la Cruz.
"The Caballos del Vino are, without a doubt, one of those deeply rooted manifestations that pass from parents to children, and which represent healthy values of competitiveness, creativity and camaraderie.
A tradition that contributes to enrich the cultural diversity of Spain ", highlights Albert Rivera in the text published by 'El Caballista', which is celebrating its fifteenth edition.
