The Department of Sports City of Caravaca opened to the public the new municipal swimming pool facilities, located in Calle Maria Rosa Molas next to the Conservatory of Music.
The building, with a budget of 118,000 euros, has a swimming pool and a children's recreation and a multipurpose sports court, cafe, toilets, changing rooms, administration area and landscaped gardens.
The new facility, with an area of 4,570 meters square, is made up of two glasses, a child of 6 by 6 meters and 40 centimeters deep, and a recreation of 25 for 12.50 meters with a minimum depth of 1.20 and a maximum of 2.50 m. .
The capacity of this space is 348 concurrent users.
The costumes have been adapted to use by people with reduced mobility.
During the visit to the pool, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Pedro Bermudez, wanted to encourage all caravaqueños this summer to enjoy this facility.
He reported that over 300 children, including swimming courses and Summer Sports School, are already making use of new pools.
