The works of the day center and residence of the hamlet of El Copo, executed with a budget of over two million, faced a final stage and will be completed during the fourth quarter.
The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, who has visited the works along with the councilors of Social and Health Promotion, Carmen Ruiz and Mercedes Velez respectively, described this performance as the most important work done in Caravaca in recent times.
"With the implementation of the project, funded by the Ministry for Social Policy and the City of Caravaca, supplementing the care they need people considered high-dependency and their families," said the mayor, who also thanked the trust the Autonomous Region have placed in this project.
The building comprises three floors built on a total area of 2,700 square meters.
The first floor will be for units of the day center and the second room of the residence, while the third is reserved for additional space and a terrace center passable.
The center will be equipped with 26 rooms, rooms for workshops and spa, dining room and visit, among other facilities needed to care for people considered high-dependency.
The building was constructed in two distinct phases, is located on a parcel of municipal property, situated in the hamlet of El Copo, along with occupational center facilities Apcom.
