The City of Caravaca de la Cruz will celebrate thirty years of Theatre Week with a program that includes some of the great theatrical successes of the season.
The councilman of Culture, Maria Cruz Pérez, accompanied by the programmer José Antonio López, presented the program XXX Theatre Week to be held from 19 to 25 July.
Theatre Week will bring to the Plaza de Toros some of the biggest theatrical releases of the season, as "idiots' dinner", "Witches" and "The happiness of women."
The councilman of Culture, Maria Cruz Pérez, said that "it has placed the greatest illusion in the program to be a very special edition by the coincidence of the Holy Year 2010 and the thirtieth anniversary of the birth of the tournament."
"This festival is one of the oldest in Spain in the field of performing arts and cultural activities with more tradition that is celebrated in the town," said the head of municipal department of Culture.

Programming Theatre Week will begin on Monday July 19 with "The Thin idiots," Francis Verber comedy starring Josema Yuste, Agustín Jiménez and Félix Álvarez "Felisuco."
This comedy, understood as a critique of modern society, has become a classic of humor after successfully represented stages around the world.
On Tuesday, July 20, will be the turn of "death trap" American comedy of intrigue over gender representation on stage.

"Witches", one of the most successful comedies in the history of the National Theatre, will be performed on Wednesday July 21, the hand of the actresses Lara Dibildos, Juncal Rivero, Arantxa del Sol, Carla Duval and Cristina Goyanes.
The book "Happiness of Women", a fun, irreverent comedy about the social behavior of women, will be staged on Thursday 22 July.
"The brave black in Flanders", by Andrés de Claramonte, will on Friday 23 July, the incredible and fantastic story of a black man who wishes to join the Spanish army in the War of Flanders.
As usual, Theatre Week will end with two performances for children.
This time the selected titles are "The brigade macaroni", which opens in Caravaca, and "upside down kingdom."
The different performances scheduled start at 23.00 hours, except for children which is scheduled for 20.00.
