Caravaca City Council has launched three new programs in public employment, endowed with a budget of 240,000 euros for the hiring of 15 people unemployed.
Councilman Job, Salvador Gomez, who has given this morning to welcome workers who have become part of such programs, has reported that the City has invested 2 million euros in projects to promote employment in the municipality for 2009 and 2010.
"Through programs, workshops and training courses aim to train people who are unemployed to help them join the labor market when economic conditions improve," the mayor stressed.
The new programs initiated with funding from regional and local administrations have been those related to support services in the San Francisco Child Care, control and reporting duties at the point of care to pilgrims and conservation efforts and maintenance of tourist environments.
They are currently working Employment Workshops 2010, endowed with a budget of close to 700,000 euros, which have provided employment to a total of 39 people.
These workshops consist of four fields: Stimulation of Information Services and Citizens, Installer / a Energy Systems Solar Thermal, Cleanliness Real Microcomputer Systems Technician.
Successful implementation of the professional qualifications of the students in those occupations have been hired teachers, administrators and managers with training and experience to do so.
For its part, the head of the Local Employment Center, Visitation Espallardo, has reported the wide range of training courses for unemployed people in the municipality, such as those related to elderly care, janitorial and computer literacy.
