The fairground of Caravaca de la Cruz will host next weekend from 15 to 17 October, the XI Regional Youth Participation Fair 'Youth Zone 2010', which will present a hundred youth associations throughout the region.
The Director General of Youth, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, and territorial president of Caja Mediterráneo, Angel Martínez, today this event, which will be held for three days over three hundred cultural activities , leisure and free time.
The fair's objectives is to promote the partnership, promoting social projection of the collective cooperation and networking among participants.
In the exhibition of Caravaca is installed a total of one hundred booths information, seven tents for activities where there will be cultural workshops, craft, music, art, as well as exhibitions and concerts, and will enable a camping area and dining room.
All activities will be organized and developed by their own youth groups and organizations involved.
During the three day fair is expected to attend more than 25,000 people.
Representation of all groups
This meeting will be represented youth groups in the Murcia Region of various types, such as cultural associations, social, political, labor, education, student and environmental cooperation.
Also participate actively DG Citizen Services, Drug Dependency and Consumer Affairs, the Environmental Volunteer Program in Natural Region of Murcia, the Directorate General of Vocational Training, the Youth Institute of Spain, the city of Caravaca de Cross and Caja Mediterráneo.
Since its inception in 2000, 'Youth Zone' has had the participation of over 420 youth organizations, the development of 3,400 activities and more than 200,000 visitors.
Since 2006, this meeting comes as travelers visiting different cities.
So far it has held in Murcia (2000 to 2005), Cartagena (2006), Molina de Segura (2007), Lorca (2008) and Archena (2009).
The budget of the Fair Youth Zone 2010 is 110,000 euros, of which the Department of Youth provides 63,000 euros, 27,000 euros Mediterranean Fund and the city of Caravaca de la Cruz 20,000.
