The Department of Health, Trade and Consumption of Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz Murcia and the Association of Consumers and Users, CONSUMUR, integrated FACUA - Consumers in Action, organized for next Saturday, October 16th, a Fair Responsible Consumption whose main objective is to promote responsible consumption among the smallest in the municipality.
One of the fundamental objectives of CONSUMUR is to promote information, education and training for consumers and users so that they are capable of acting as consumers and users aware, critical and responsible, especially the most vulnerable groups, such as For children and youth.
Therefore, in the framework of actions to develop in colaboracióncon the Department of Health, Trade and Consumption of Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz, the Association has organized a Responsible Consumer Fair which will be addressed through the implementation of workshops, issues such as consumption, healthy eating, buying and labeling, the environment, leisure and child safety.
It also will include a performance by a children's theater group with storytelling, under the interpretation of the story "The Princess Llorona" sensitize and raise awareness among young about the importance of conducting good eating habits.
The fair, which starts from 10.00 am and end at 14.00 am (children's theater will begin at 12.00 and will last 30 minutes) will be held at the Recinto Ferial de Caravaca de la Cruz, coinciding development with the XI Regional Fair Youth Participation, Youth Zone 2010.
Admission is free for all audiences.
The event is sponsored by the city of Caravaca de la Cruz and it has helped the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia.
