The UI area of Youth and the Union of Communist Youth of Spain (UJCE) in the region yesterday paths banners unfurled from the top of the castle of Caravaca to denounce the unemployment and job insecurity experienced by the youth group, reports the left-wing coalition a statement.
The aim of this initiative was to serve as a starting point for the campaign in the area of Youth Against Youth unemployment and job insecurity, for a social alternative to the crisis, "United Left presented this weekend at Caravaca, in under the Fair Youth Zone.
This campaign will run throughout the region over the coming months, including the conduct of debates and public events, the placement of over 2000 posters and the distribution of 10,000 leaflets and 6,000 stickers.
For the political secretary UJCE in the Region of Murcia, Pedro Jesús Camacho, "it is important to explain that the situation of youth unemployment and precariousness is something that can and should respond, as there is an alternative."
For his part, responsible for Youth in the Region IU, Alfonso Lucas, explained that young people "face a critical moment that if not answered firmly cause serious damage to our generation and beyond", referring to labor and pension reform.
According to Lucas, the president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, "has no interest in improving the situation of youth and has deleted the Institute of Youth."
