The historian Emilio Molina López discuss the Window Appearance in a conference scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 21 October at 20.30 at the International Centre for the Study of Vera Cruz.
During the talk, the Arabist caravaqueño set out the arguments that undermine the credibility of the translation of signs in the window by the Moorish Miguel de Luna.
The caravaqueño Molina Lopez will approach during his speech to the historical context and enigmas surrounding the window of the Emergence, the oculus of stone made up of 42 signs that are located inside the Basilica de la Vera Cruz and has been studied and looking over the history of dozens of historians and specialists.
The professor at the University of Granada Emilio Molina López is a member of the Spanish Society of Arab Studies, European Union and academic Arabists and scholars of Islam for the Real Academia Alfonso X El Sabio de Murcia, among others.
Has combined his teaching at the University of Granada with large rooms at the Universities of Damascus, Rabat, Fez and Paris.
He has also conducted numerous studies and participated in conferences, seminars and scientific meetings nationally and internationally.
