A total of 20 patients in unemployment, resulting from the Rehabilitation Center of Mental Health, are part of the "Employment Guide" to the socio-professional reintegration of people with mental disabilities and substance abuse.
The councilors of Health and Social Promotion, Mercedes Velez and Carmen Ruiz respectively, have moved this morning to the place El Molino, in the hamlet of Navares, to know the fitting of a recreational and educational park, which will carry out practices and the inclusion of more patients to the project.
The visit also attended by the deputy director general of Mental Health, Carlos Giribet, and the president of the Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia, Luis Pelegrin.
Healthy Employment Program is funded with 78,000 euros annually by the Health Service of Murcia through an agreement with the City of Murcia Caravaca and the Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation.
The primary objective of this initiative, which has been going on since 2008 Caravaca, "is to give beneficiaries of labor skills and social skills that allow the patient out of isolation and to establish, by appropriate means, a series of work integration activities and building self-esteem and autonomy ", as stated by the mayor Mercedes Vélez.
For his part, Councillor for Social Promotion, Carmen Ruiz, wanted to thank the collaboration of the businessman caravaqueño Antonio Marin, who gave the El Molino so they could develop the various activities under the rehabilitation program.
From the Association of Social Rehabilitation Murcia explained that different therapies are performed along with practical work in gardening, masonry and cleaning, to promote rehabilitation and social integration of the users.
