The Popular Party has appeared in the House of Representatives an amendment to the General State Budget for two years to extend the period of tax benefits for companies to support initiatives related to the project Caravaca Jubilee.
The national deputy Jaime García-Legaz explained yesterday, accompanied by the President of the PP in Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, the Popular Parliamentary Group wants to extend tax benefits until 2013 because it is important to the interests of Caravaca de la Cruz and Region Murcia.
"We believe it is very convenient and timely amendment, which will continue to encourage investment and business support," Aranda said Sunday.
García-Legaz keen to stress that the PP has made only two amendments of this type for Spain, one related to the Holy Year of Caravaca and another with Alicante Sailing Cup.
That is, according to statements by Mr Murcia, "a sign of commitment so important that the Popular Party has acquired Caravaca de la Cruz and the Region of Murcia"
The PP has begun the round of negotiations with other parliamentary groups with the confidence to achieve consensus and the Congress that this amendment be incorporated into budgets by the State.
"The negotiations will be extended along this week and hope to reach an agreement before year's end," said Jaime García-Legaz during a press conference in Caravaca.
