The PSOE elected local executive last weekend cardiologist elBalad Luis Gabriel Martinez to lead the Socialist candidate for mayor of Caravaca in the upcoming municipal elections.
The choice of Martinez elBalad was confirmed during the inauguration of the exhibition "One Hundred Years of Socialism 'in the House of Culture which takes place from 8 to 12 November.
The candidate expressed his satisfaction with the support of the executive and said that "I know I also have the backing of much of society caravaqueña and so we will try to fight for the welfare, equality and progress."
In the coming weeks, Martinez and the local executive will have to make a bid to endorse the militants at a meeting that might take place in January.
On Friday November 12 of that exhibition closes with the presence of Begoña García Retegui, Socialist candidate for the Autonomous Community of Murcia, which will be accompanied by the former mayor of Caravaca, Antonio García Martínez-Reina, and the candidate Luis Gabriel Martinez elBalad .
