The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Youth and the Youth Association El Salvador, celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, the International Day for the Rights of the Child with various workshops and recreational and educational games.
The event will take place in the Plaza San Juan de la Cruz from 10.30.
Throughout the day, monitors leisure games and free workshops conducted based on values education and the dissemination and promotion of the Universal Rights of the Child.
"This is an activity which is aimed at calling attention to the importance of caring for children, with actors and children like them, through play and fun", as stated by the mayor Youth, Antonia Maria Alvarez.
In 1959, the day was established November 20 as International Day of the Rights of the Child by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
