Hospitality Association will continue offering the pilgrim's menu at popular prices
Pilgrim's Market opens this Sunday, January 16, a new season with an edition devoted to the crafts.
The City of Caravaca, in collaboration with associations of artisans and restaurateurs, has scheduled six editions of the market, which will be accompanied by workshops for children, entertainment activities and food tasting.
The Councillor for Tourism, Gonzalo López-Auguy, said that the market, after the experience accumulated over five seasons, has become a new attraction in the city, which serves to support the food and crafts typical of the Northwest Region .
For his part, President of the Artisans, Angel Miñano, has acknowledged that he has made a great effort to keep all activities during the 2011 season and has grown to more than 40 the number of participating artisans.
Arco Square will again be the market scenario, which starts a new journey this Sunday, January 16, with participatory workshops costumes, jewelry, soaps, paint, makeup and mud, and a chocolate tasting donuts for all attendees.
Until June, every last Sunday of the month, there will be issues devoted to crafts, children, cheese and ham, honey, the environment and the cheese and ham.
Also, the Hospitality Association of the Northwest and Mula River joins this initiative by preparing pilgrim menu prices ranging from 5 to 12 euros.
All dishes prepared by restaurants and bars will be based on products and typical local food.
