Caravaca City Council has called the photo contest "Perspectives for Gender Equality" in the commemoration of International Women's Day.
In addition, other activities are planned as a meeting of women's associations in the municipality and the X Tribute and Recognition of Women Entrepreneurs.
The contest "Perspectives for Gender Equality" has been convened in three modes: High school students from 12 years over 18 years and components of women's associations.
In each of the categories will be awarded a first prize of 200 euros and a second $ 100.
The theme of the works will have to relate to diverse realities of women living today, such as reconciling work and family life, social and political participation, employment, violence, and so on.
All entries will be exhibited at the Casa de la Cultura Emilio Sáez, in conjunction with the awards ceremony.
The contest rules are available on the Local Employment Center for Women and the municipal website www.caravaca.org.
On 8 March at 20.00 hours in the House of Culture will hold a meeting of women's associations established in the municipality.
During this event students employment workshops presented the study results "Opinions on the street" interviews based Caravaca citizens on issues related to equality between women and men.
The events will culminate on March 11 with the X Tribute and Recognition of Women Entrepreneurs of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Councillor for Social Promotion, Carmen Ruiz, explained that, as has happened in recent years, is in the act when they unveil the name of the woman or woman to be awarded for his career and working in the municipality.
The tribute concert will be accompanied by Paloma López and María del Mar Muñoz Morales.
