This hotel facility adds to the shelters built in the hamlet of La Almudema and the train station
The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, accompanied by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, today inaugurated the hotel in El Llano, which will provide 150 new accommodation to the municipality.
The project, valued at 1,249,000 euros, was funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Councilor Pedro Alberto Cruz has described the facility as the most important tourist facility in the Northwest Region, which reinforces Caravaca as one of the largest religious tourist destinations in Spain.
The mayor has stated that it is a space to serve the present and the future of Caravaca, which increases, along with lodging and train the Almudema, some 250 hotel beds.
The hotel is located west of the town, near the hamlet of Las Fuentes del Marqués, nestled in a residential area and situated at the foot of wooded hills of great scenic and environmental interest, so is the ideal location.
It occupies about 700 square meters and has a floor area of ​​2,500 square meters, housing 50 rooms with a capacity of 150 seats.
The planned building has been designed taking into account each and every one of the basic principles of the regional administration, such as austerity, user convenience, economy of maintenance, functionality, visual comfort, protection against intrusion and a representative image and attractive.
It consists of a basement and three floors above ground, with public road frontage 2 accessed from one to the garage and from the other into the lobby of the building.
The lower ground floor is intended to store and other applications, a covered outdoor parking and gardens.
On the ground floor are a dining room, kitchen, toilet for disabled people, one male and one female toilet, cafeteria, lounge, concierge and 10 rooms with bathroom inside.
