The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, opened this morning by the Center for Women in Caravaca de la Cruz, located on Calle Pedro Campos, next to the garden The Cejo, and has received an investment of 640,000 euros by his department.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Mayor Domingo Aranda, and the director general of Social Affairs, Gender and Immigration, Leopoldo Navarro.
The building has two floors.
On the floor are, among other units, workshop classrooms artistic expression and entertainment and kitchen, a multipurpose room and computer room.
Also, on the first floor are arranged two training rooms and coordination, and several offices.
In the new facility will provide services of the Department of Women and Equality, from providing information and guidance on training and employment advice to entrepreneurs and business owners, labor mediation, conciliation and new technologies.
Also attend to victims of gender violence.
Similarly, information on women's associations, organization of exhibitions and activities related to the promotion of women and the dissemination of equal opportunities.
The center's objectives are to promote women's access to the labor market and procedures for reconciling family life and work.
It also aims to promote access to information for women with training rooms and Internet access as a tool for personal development and professional training.
