The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, opened with the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, the facilities of the Primary Care Clinic Moralejo.
During the ceremony, Palacios said that "the construction of this facility enables patients in this area, somewhat removed from the city of Caravaca, not have to travel to go to his doctor's appointment."
The new office replaces the former is equipped with a Consultation of Family Medicine and Nursing and Cures, plus an administration area and waiting room.
This center, explained the minister, "replaced the former because of its poor state and its inability to grow."
The Minister said that "at this center will continue to provide health care three days a week."
In this regard, he stressed that "the expansion has been a" significant improvement for patients and healthcare professionals as well as an increase in services since the Moralejo Clinic is a completely new service. "
Palacios said the center "has the capacity to serve a population of 1,500 adults and 1,000 children."
Therefore, he added that "it is an infrastructure designed and built for the demands that may emerge in coming years and intended to provide a quality service."
Parker concluded that "this center will allow professionals to do their work in the best possible conditions, and is another example of the effort to continue offering the best health for our citizens."
