Caravaca de la Cruz will receive a Special Mention in the 2011 Mercury Prize for the work of tourism promotion held during the Holy Year as a destination for religious tourism.
This award is presented at the "Night of Murcia Economy" organized by the Chamber of Commerce to distinguish individuals, companies and organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to economic and social development of the Region of Murcia.
2011 Mercury Awards will be presented on May 27th at 21.00 at Hotel Nelva of Murcia.
Representatives from business, political and social in the region will gather at the Night of Economics Murcia, an event established by the cameral body for the delivery of the awards over 30 years of history.
