The City of Caravaca de la Cruz will hire about 75 workers in the agricultural sector with a grant of 290,000 euros granted by the State Public Employment Service and the Regional Employment and Training.
The grant shall cover wage costs and social security contributions for workers who will be responsible for carrying out works and services of general interest and social development.
Councilman Employment in the city of Caravaca, Salvador Gomez, has reported that the deadline to participate in the Agricultural District Councils is open until July 13 and registration will be formalized in the office of the SEF in Caravaca.
"People who choose to be employed must be stopped, belonging to the agricultural sector with at least one and a half of trading on the Special Agricultural Scheme," he detailed.
With the launch of the so-called Employment Promotion Programme "Rural Development Initiatives" will be a job for over 3 months to 75 people that are unemployed, while conducted in a series of actions beneficial for the whole municipality, related to cleaning, clearing and landscaping of public spaces in the town and villages.
In particular, the last Governing Board meeting in the Consistory approved 4 caravaqueño valued memories with performances to be performed by workers in the District Agricultural Council.
The approved projects are: general gardening activities in public spaces and the urban districts; maintenance work on municipal cemetery and clearance works on roads and public land.
