Caravaca de la Cruz will host the 26 to 28 July during the Restoration, Management and Distribution of Built Heritage, organized by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena in collaboration with the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
With this training activity, now in its ninth edition, continues to contribute to interdisciplinary training of professionals involved in equity, facilitating and encouraging scientific and technical debate.
The course will examine the rich heritage of Caravaca de la Cruz and some of the most important interventions in the restoration work undertaken in recent years in the Region of Murcia.
This will have the participation of graduates in Fine Arts and specialized technicians in equity companies, through concrete examples that will explain methods of intervention.
In addition, students have the opportunity to learn about new research technologies applied to heritage, as is the case of laser scanning and virtual restoration.
According to statements by the Councillor for Culture and Heritage in the city of Caravaca, Maria Cruz Perez, "the course management and dissemination of Built Heritage has established itself throughout its nine year history as an open forum for reflection, debate and exchange of ideas and experiences between specialists, teachers and students. "

The course will comprise a total of 25 hours and have an appreciation of 2.5 credits.
