A score of young people, selected by the Social Services and schools are part of the program of socio-labor "My Opportunity", by the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
This initiative, funded by the Federation of Municipalities and the Instituto de la Juventud (Youth Institute), is developing a series of modules on personal development, employability and work habits.
The classes, which will total 80 hours of training, they will develop during the months of July and August in the premises of the Youth Center.
Similarly, the "My Opportunity" includes contacts and activities in the companies of the region of Northwest and personalized monitoring of students during the period of one year.
The mayor of Youth, Antonia Maria Alvarez, who today visited one of the classes of the program, stressed that "the priority is focused on encouraging participants to support their training and support in finding a job in an economic crisis that affects especially youth unemployment. "
The participants' profile matches that of young people aged between 16 and 30 years, with few studies and little or no experience.
