"Stories of a karaoke" closes tonight programming aimed at adults of Theatre Week XXXI Caravaca de la Cruz.
The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca has chosen this work, highly praised by critics and a cast of renowned actors in its cast, to put the finishing touch to the comedies of this year.
"Stories of a karaoke" tells the story of an unhappy series of characters, full of humor and irony that just want to vent with a song and every day that cling to karaoke.
The authors, Juan Luis Iborra and Antonio Albert, define it as a tragic comedy full of hope.
"Stories of a karaoke", starring famous actors Juanjo Artero, Elisa Matilla, Angel Pardo and Pepa Rus, born of the success of the book "Lies, frankincense and myrrh."
The XXXI Theatre Week ends this weekend with two children's plays.
On Saturday the company Teatro zero represents the story of "The rat smug" and on Sunday the group will stage Caravaca Theatre "The Elves and the Shoemaker," both adaptations of José Antonio Navarro Lopez "Jata".
Both performances begin at 20.00 hours and the ticket price is 3 euros.
Caravaca Theatre Group, who first collaborated with the Department of Culture in the programming of the Theatre Week is the result of the workshop held during the 2010/2011 season at the Art Association, The Garden.
For 40 minutes, ten actors trained in this workshop, under the direction of Luis Martinez Arasa and the special collaboration of María López Marín, will offer children a fun show and participatory.
