During its seven editions, more than 18,000 people have participated in this proposal and cultural tourism
Theatrical nocturnal visits to the Castle and the Basilica of the Holy Cross begin next week and run throughout the month of August.
This is the seventh year that this proposal is developed, turned into a tourist resort and cultural caravaqueño summer, which have involved more than 18,000 people.
"It has prepared a visit performed, which are mixed with other fun historical references, repeating the formula that has garnered much success in previous summers," announced the Councillor for Tourism and Culture, Maria Cruz Pérez.
This time the visit takes place in the late nineteenth century, particularly in 1885, after completing the cholera epidemic that hit Caravaca and all of Europe, the same year ended the coveted works for the supply of drinking water, from the source of the friars, to our city.
The scenario remains the fortress and Basilica-Sanctuary of Caravaca de la Cruz, but change the historical content and the characters involved and interwoven visit.
This time, the activity will be guided and interpreted by Mr. Quentin Bas and Martinez, historical character who has a prominent place in the history of Caravaca and his Cross, director of the school of secondary education "The Holy Cross" and the first academic History has been our city.
The Reporter will be accompanied and complemented by Mrs. Dolores Alfonso, his faithful wife and musical, and Miguelina, the gardener of the castle.
