The Museum of Music receives 5635 visitors during the first half of the year
The concert series "A Barranda moon" at the Museum of Ethnic Music kicks off this Saturday, August 6, with an evening devoted to the music of oral tradition.
In the courtyard of the museum, starting at 22.00, will ring characteristic rhythms of music following the hand crews Caravaca, Barranda, The Feather, The Sabinar and Campo de San Juan.
"The concert series, which will develop during the month of August, is also composed of other proposals related to flamenco, blues or rock," as announced by the Councillor for Culture, Maria Cruz Perez, who stressed that "the planned measures seek to serve different musical tastes, counting with formations and artists from the Northwest Region."
After the evening dedicated to roots music, the August 13 concert will take place on "The catfish," a quartet that specializes in the fusion of jazz, pop, Caribbean rhythms, rock and roll and blues in Spanish rithm.
This band, formed in late 2008, has acted in several national and international festivals, among which include the Festival of Cultures Holguin (Cuba).
On August 20th will be the turn of "Essence Bardorí," a group of six young bands caravaqueños which version known as The Deliqüentes, The Goblin's Attic or tow.
The series "A Moon Barranda" will close on August 27 with a flamenco evening by the pilgrims' choir Santisima y Vera Cruz de Caravaca.
The concerts will be held from 22.30 hours in the courtyard of the Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda.
Admission is free to fill seats.

The Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda received during the first half of the year a total of 5635 visitors, according to data released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
"This space, which houses the collection of musical instruments Carlos Blanco Fadol, is becoming one of the tourist attractions of the town and as an international benchmark in its theme," said the Councillor for Tourism, Culture and Tourism, Maria Cruz Pérez .
The Museum of Ethnic Music is included in the Network of Museums of the Region of Murcia.
Inside, the visitor can see a sample varied musical culture in 145 countries, as well as music, stories and legends dating back to the third century BC, compiled by musicologist Carlos Blanco Fadol.
