A total of 75 people will work for the next six months cleaning and maintenance of green spaces and municipal lots within the Agricultural District Councils called.
The hiring of these workers has been made possible by a grant of 290,000 euros granted to the city of Caravaca de la Cruz by the State Public Employment Service and the Regional Employment and Training.
The people hired are caravaqueños, unemployed and outside the agricultural sector with at least a year and a half of trading on the Special Agricultural Scheme.
The grant is intended to cover full salary costs and Social Security contributions of workers who will be responsible for carrying out works and services of general interest and social.
"Right now, 42 workers have been incorporated in the coming weeks and will the remaining 33, thus completing a template that will allow us to carry out a number of activities beneficial to the municipality and are primarily related to cleaning, clearing and development of public spaces and urban districts, "according to Councilman Job, Salvador Gomez, who has stated that the objective of this program is to promote employment in the agricultural sector through rural development initiatives .
Led by local technicians, workers in the Agricultural District Council have begun the tasks provided with the clearing and cleaning in the New Town area, street Torrentera, Solar Europe and slopes of the Castle.
Work will continue in the municipal cemetery and roads, lots and urban gardens and villages.
