Thuillier Theatre hosts this Friday, November 4th, at 21.00 a concert organized by the Culture Department of the City of Caravaca to benefit those affected by the earthquake in Lorca.
Tickets can be purchased at a price of $ 5 in advance at the General Register of the City and the day of concert at the box office.
The councilman of Culture, Maria Cruz Perez reported that the concert will feature over one hundred musicians belonging to the bands of Caravaca de la Cruz and Lorca.
He highlighted that the revenue from ticket sales will be entirely designed the table in solidarity with those affected by the earthquake.
"I encourage all caravaqueñas caravaqueños and to come to this event that will unite for the first time on the same stage two of the best ensembles of the Region of solidarity to help our neighbors Lorca," said the mayor.
The Band of Lorca is made up of about 50 musicians, many of them senior professors Municipal School of Music and the Conservatory Narciso Yepes.
Throughout its existence, has received several awards, including first prize at the Music Band of Murcia and the Gold Medal of the City of Lorca.
The band, who will act under the direction of Caravaca Manzanera Antonio Lopez, interpret the adage "Second Symphony" Rachmaninov in memory of those killed in the May 11 earthquake.
For its part, the musical group of Caravaca de la Cruz will be led by Francisco Garcia Alcazar, who has selected a musical program consisting of "The Revoltosa" by R. Chapí, "March Slav" by Tchaikovsky, "alternance" Andre Waignein and pasodoble "Teatro Montercarlo" Perez Perelló.
