The Conservatory of Music in Caravaca de la Cruz is one of the centers of teaching Spanish pioneers in the development of the Suzuki method for introduction to musical language and practice the violin.
Classes have started this course with the participation of a group of parents and children aged between 4 and 6 years.
The Councillor for Education in the City of Caravaca, Carmen Ruiz Mulero Conservatory congratulated for launching this initiative which promotes musical talent and working together with parents and children.
The mayor, who has visited one of the Suzuki method classes, explained that "this new approach to teaching is based on musical ability is not innate talent, but a skill that can be purchased just as all children develop the ability to speak their language. "
The Conservatory of Caravaca thus introduces a new type of study to their specialties over sixteen classical orchestra, musical initiation, guitar, piano, singing and dancing.
At present, the Conservatory has about 900 students and 40 teachers.
