The Governing Council of the Autonomous Community has at its last meeting approved an agreement with the city of Caravaca de la Cruz for the relocation of the machinery and road maintenance materials, located on Avenida de Los Andenes.
The aim of this partnership assets is, as stated by Councilman Urban Development, Salvador Gomez, "take this facility from the center and place it in a more appropriate and accessible to the highway and roads in the Northwest District at while achieving a new public space for the enjoyment of the citizens. "
Under this agreement, will sign the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the park will move to a city-owned land located at 'Cañada Lentisco', an area adjacent to the future highway Caravaca de la Cruz-Venta del Olivo, in the Calasparra tranche.
The new location of the premises of the park ensures immediate access to roads requires such facilities without having to go through the urban area for reasons of speed and efficiency.
The regional government will transfer to the City of Caravaca the plot currently occupied by the machinery park, about 2,000 square meters for the construction of a public garden with a connection of The Plum Street and Avenue of the platforms.
