The Regional Governing Council held today, Friday, has given approval to two agreements with the city of Caravaca de la Cruz for home delivery service for people with intellectual disabilities in situations of dependency, for which it is intended a total amount of 371,977 euros.
In total 40 seats will be offered on the premises of place of El Copo, of which 20 are resident, five more than in the previous year and 20 the day center.
This is intended to promote a better quality of life of users, enhancing their independence and living in their family and community partner.
Of the total amount allocated by the regional government, 260,041 euros correspond to the residence and the remaining $ 111,936 to care in the day center.
The day center and residence for dependent high is located in the hamlet of El Copo, with Apcom facilities.
The building consists of three floors built on a total area of ​​2,700 square meters.
The first floor is for units of the day center and the second room of the residence, while the third is reserved for additional space and a terrace center passable.
The center has 26 rooms, rooms for workshops and baths, dining room and visit, among other agencies needed to care for people considered high-dependency.
The residence also offers the user programs the basic activities of daily living necessary to improve their self-care and promote personal autonomy.
It also will feature health and social care and therapeutic services.
