Local Police Caravaca de la Cruz has launched with a new structure which aims to optimize human and material resources to achieve greater efficiency in daily work, as reported by the council responsible for the area of ​​Public Safety and Traffic Juan Francisco Jiménez Puerta.
They have adapted existing uniforms in order to renew the image and help people identify the different groups created.
Also, the 47 agents that are part of the staff of the Police are participating in a training program, assisting with various courses and practices to encourage specialization in each of the areas.
With the new measures, the local police is structured in citizen security group (made up of 26 officers and intended for citizen services, maintenance of public order and administrative procedures), special security group (made up of 6 police officers and whose main functions will be conducting traffic control, alcohol, drugs, monitoring and control at public events), group of districts and the environment (consisting of 3 agents and for the protection of rural and natural areas) and, finally, traffic and crowded group, composed of 10 officers.
