Salvador Gomez Sanchez, councilor for Employment, Urban Development and Services in the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, has been appointed to the commission of Employment and Economic Development of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
Gomez Sanchez said committee be part together mayors, deputies and councilors representing other Spanish provinces.
The Committee on Economic Development and Employment, which is next Monday at the Madrid headquarters of the federation aims for local governments to provide skills in managing employment policies and adequate financial resources to those powers.
In order to provide effective answers to short and medium term, the commission of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities promote political action to promote local economic development, job creation and promotion of entrepreneurial activities.
Among its objectives is the creation of a single constitution and advice for self-employment, the creation of local entrepreneurship portal, updating the study on local employment policies and direct collaboration with the Ministries of Employment and Social Security Industry.
