The Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda today dedicated one of its rooms to the troubadour Juan Tudela legs, better known as "Uncle John Rita," one hundred on his birthday.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, who has recognized the contribution of "John Rita" to the music of oral tradition and, in particular, the Feast of Barranda crews.
John Rita also blow out the candles on a birthday cake and have devoted some verses to all the people in the museum, among which were the museum director, Carlos Blanco, the Councillor for Culture, Maria Cruz Perez, and Javier Andreo, the "grandson" John Rita.
