About 200 runners and walkers will meet on March 3 in Caravaca de la Cruz to participate in the XI Resistance in Mountain Crossing "Mountains of the Northwest".
This test, non-competitive, is organized by the Sports Association Adenow collaboration with the Sports Department of the City of Caravaca and others, and corporate sponsors.
The main novelty of the eleventh edition is the change of route, with a track day with departure and arrival points in Caravaca de la Cruz.
Participants can enjoy the scenery of the Marquis de las Fuentes, The Platforms, The Sierra del Gavilan, The Nevazo and the slopes of the Peña Rubia, among other places.
"Although this is a non-competitive, the route requires good physical preparation, although the route has several points of escape and evacuation, and will be attended at all times by the Civil Defence organization", said during the presentation of the Adenow journey president, Alfonso Barreras.
The Councillor for Sports, Emilio Perez, has highlighted the work being done Adenow Association to promote sporting values ​​related to nature and his desire to make known the mountains of the Northwest Region as sites suitable for the practice mountain sports.
