The Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has joined the initiative "The Northwest is eaten" with which promotes food, restaurants and main tourist resources of the municipalities in the Northwest Region.
Under the project "The Northwest is eaten," has created a gastronomic route, with the participation of 25 bars and restaurants, to raise awareness of the culinary specialties of the area and encourage sectors of the hospitality and tourism.
Participants in the route will be drawn a lot of wine valued at 1,300 euros, courtesy of the Council of the Designation of Origin Bullas.
Those interested in participating in the lottery must complete a card stating at least six visits to the restaurants participating in the initiative and put it in the tourist offices.
"In Caravaca de la Cruz are ten restaurants that are part of the gastronomic route. Establishments participants are reflected in www.elnoroestesecome.com page, where you can also access information of interest to visitors," said Councilwoman Tourism, Maria Cruz Perez, who also noted that this project is the result of a joint initiative of the municipalities and the restorers of the Shire in order to join efforts in promoting local gastronomy and landscape resources and tourism.
