The regional coordinator UPyD, Rafael Sanchez, has called for the resignation of the director general of the Environment, Amador Lopez, considering that "the infamous" management of its stage of Town Planning of the City of Caravaca, in relation to the case UTE it "disables" politically to hold an office of responsibility.
Amador Sanchez recalled that Lopez was the Town Planning in the City of Caravaca in 2006 when it was signed the planning agreement between the City caravaqueño and a joint venture, which it held a series of works in the municipality for a worth close to EUR 10 million in exchange for land, which could be built, located in the current football field and surrounding areas.
The joint venture construction companies decided to sue the City after finding that this was not the owner of the entire surface of old football field The Morao, whose land was payment in kind, in exchange for performing the works cited in the municipality The Consistory was committed to them so they could build houses.
The Supreme Court judgment of conviction to the City to pay a sum of around ten million euros to the joint venture (plus interest, will be around 11) for the work undertaken in the municipality and the companies they had not received any compensation, nor in soil or in cash.
The judgment is, in fact, ruin to the municipal coffers, as the 11 million to be paid up half the budget of the City of Caravaca.
Sanchez said the ruling confirmed the responsibility of the City of Caravaca, and therefore Amador Lopez.
