The Conservatory of Music in Caravaca de la Cruz opens next Sunday, March 11, at 1230 hours, a musical based on the story of Sergei Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf".
In this show, organized with the collaboration of the Department of Culture and Education of the City of Caravaca and Cajamurcia Foundation, involved about 200 people, including students, teachers and parents.
For the eighth consecutive year, the Conservatory's educational community has been involved in organizing and staging of a musical to show outside the classroom progress in the disciplines of Music and Dance.
"We wanted to go a step further with respect to the musicals represented in past courses, working an original composition, in which the instruments are transformed into animals, always following the guidelines set by the music," he explained during one of the Professor Maria Isabel trials Arribas.
The Conservatory of Music in Caravaca de la Cruz has a wide range of educational, with sixteen specialties classical orchestra, introductory music, guitar, piano, singing and dance.
It currently has about 900 students and 40 teachers.
Throughout the year different extracurricular activities are scheduled to bring his teachings to the public.
The musical "Peter and the Wolf" will be staged next Sunday, March 11, at 1230 hours in the Salon de la Cruz Castillo.
The door opening is scheduled for 12.00 pm and entry is free to fill seats.
