The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has taught a course of training for the hospitality sector for young unemployed.
The 12 participating students will obtain the Certificate of Competence after attending for more than three months theoretical and practical classes.
The course "Basic Operations Restaurant and Bar" has been organized by the Youth Employment Local and subsidized by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF).
The councilor in charge of the municipal area of ​​Employment, Salvador Gomez, said during the closing ceremony that "hospitality is one of the sectors, despite the economic crisis, can maintain the level of recruitment in Caravaca, making it necessary to continue betting on the professionalization and training of their workers. "
After completing the 220 hours of theoretical modules and cooking classes on the premises of Castillo de la Cruz Salons, students begin an internship at restaurants Palate, The Arc, Paco Rincon, La Maestranza, Sources and home of the Marquis Grandfather meals.
In this sense, the Councillor for Youth, Maria Antonia Alvarez, wanted to thank the collaboration of restaurateurs, "fundamental to these young people successfully complete their training and prepare for possible inclusion in the workplace."
