The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca has designed a special summer edition of the program of leisure "Caravaca Young."
The area councilor responsible for Youth, Maria Antonia Alvarez Jorquera, has reported the main novelties of this schedule, "which aims to entertain, educate and teach values ​​to children and youth of all ages."
Maria Antonia Alvarez has been cited as one of the novelties of "Young Caravaca" the workshop "Week in English", in which participants will play activities in English in order to strengthen a fun way their language training.
Moreover, for the second year, during the months of July and August will be held at the Municipal School Summer, based in Caravaca Sports Center, with activities and excursions aimed at children aged 4-12 years.
From 26 to July 1 the "Caravaca Young" moves to Camping Las Nogueras Nerpio, which will take place Multisports Camp.
The adventure activities are strengthened this year with a course on the Canyoning, in collaboration with Club Deportivo Adenow.
Within the section on excursions and trips are also planned activity "Saturdays at the beach", including discounts on transportation for the Youth Club members Caravaca.
The musical evenings in the courtyard of the Youth Center on Thursdays are taken up during the month of July.
In the concerts by youth bands formed part of the municipality.
"A lot of these bands are formed every day in the rehearsal rooms of the Youth Center and want to continue supporting them with the organization of concerts," said the councilor.
Another novelty of the summer edition of the "Caravaca Young" is the Photo-Marathon "Capture the Moment", which gets underway in collaboration with the Student Association and youth correspondents Adecava in secondary schools.
"Given the great success that has the picture among users of the Youth Center, we decided to include this activity, consisting in capturing moments during a day of social life or assets of Caravaca", as explained Alvarez Jorquera.
Finally, note that from 2 July to 17 September amending schedule Youth Center to adapt its services to the leisure time of young people.
The facility, consisting of rehearsal rooms, IT, leisure and study, will be open Monday through Friday from 6 pm to 12 midnight.
